As experts in moving and relocating pets around the world, Move One has a special relationship with the animals in its care. As a company we provide a second-to-none service that makes sure each of the furry friends put into our care arrives safely, quickly and comfortably. Our affinity for pets goes further than just a corporate business, as right down to the individual level, Move One is a team that loves and understands our animal companions.

Each week, we feature a staff member from one of our offices around the world and the pet that they care for and love.

Colleague’s name: Anna Ódor
Office location: Budapest, Hungary
Pet’s name, breed, gender and age: Abu, Jerboa, Male, 2 years

Jerboas are hopping desert rodents found throughout Asia and Northern Africa and live for 5-6 years. Abu has been with us for 1.5 years. He can jump 1-1.5 meters high if he’s scared or feels good. He is very mild and house-trained, we let him out every day to jump and run around the house, but we always have to keep an eye on him, as he loves to nibble if he’s bored. He’s very choosy, his favorites are tressed millet and pea flakes. Jerboas don’t drink water, as they gain moisture from the plants. He has long tufted tails and very long hindlegs, enormous ears, which are about a third larger than the head. The tail is long and covered in short black and white hairs. He looks funny.
