Museum of Russian History in MoscowThe Russian authorities have revised forecast adjustments, submitted by 1 May 2009, regarding companies’ quota of foreign labor for 2009, and announced on 16 July 2009 that additional quota will not be approved. Consequently companies will not be able to apply for work permits for foreigners who have not been included in the approved quota.

Although the decision has been finalized, the government has advised that there could be a slim chance to obtain permits for foreigners not included in the quota based on additional application procedures.
