Move One Delivers Vital Materials to Afghanistan Along NDN
Massive shipment of essential construction materials to Afghanistan to be followed by regular supply chain
Move One continues to support the restoration of Afghanistan’s infrastructure by delivering vital material to civil and military authorities, most lately in the form of large quantities of plywood sheets.
Sixteen trucks loads of the lightweight, versatile reprocessed timber have been transported from Almaty in Kazakhstan to multiple destinations in Afghanistan. Local authorities are not only engaged in restoration initiatives, but also massive civil engineering projects to facilitate the exploration of the estimated $3 trillion in untapped iron, copper, gold and lithium deposits by foreign companies.
Move One are veterans in delivering essential construction materials to even the most remote and hostile regions of Afghanistan. From six-ton T-walls for the local government to seven-million dollar radar units for the armed services, Move One has a long and distinguished history of dependable logistics in Afghanistan.
The latest delivery is part of an ongoing supply chain service, and will be followed by a further eight trucks of construction material every two weeks. Talking about the latest shipment Aliya Segizbaeva, Move One’s Country Manager for Kazakhstan, said “We are very pleased that we have been able to apply our regional expertise to play a major role in the peacekeeping and restoration projects of Afghanistan. Our resources and offices strategically distributed throughout the NDN mean we are able to expedite these shipments with unparalleled speed and customer value.”
The Northern Distribution Network (NDN) is a series of logistics routes throughout Central Asia and the Middle East.
