New to Dubai was an informational exhibition for expats who have recently moved to Dubai. Exhibitors included local businesses, educational and health care professionals, and social groups.

The event was held at the Knowledge Village Conference Center from 10am to 6pm on Saturday, October 1, 2011. There were approximately 1,500 visitors, primarily new expats who recently relocated to Dubai.

Attendees and exhibitors enjoyed a afternoon of sharing business and contact information as well as key insights on what it really takes to get settled, thrive and how to take advantage of everything Dubai has to offer.

Move One was one of many of the event organizers including: Expat Echo Dubai, Goumbook, Mumceirge, Spagenie, Peekaboo and Urban Events. Feedback collected during the day was positive from both attendees and exhibitors all saying the event provided useful information and great business networking opportunities.
