Move One Hungary Assists the Budapest Festival Orchestra
Move One was delighted to assist with a fine art transport project on behalf of the Budapest Festival Orchestra this spring. The nine day tour required orchestra equipment to be transferred from Cologne, Germany, Bruges, Belgium, London, England, Moselle, France, Antwerp, Belgium before ending in Vienna, Austria where the final concert was held in.
Laszlo Vasas, Surveyor and Andrea Domsik, Move Coordinator in Budapest, Hungary coordinated the transport. Vasas indicated: “Move One’s fine art truck was utilized for the transport of the musical instruments for the philharmonic orchestra and they were so impressed with our services that they contacted us for a follow up transportation assignment.”
The Budapest Festival Orchestra’ s conductor is the world renowned Ivan Fischer. Vasas indicated: “In less than 30 years the Budapest Festival Orchestra has established itself as one of the ten leading orchestras of the world. It is loved by audiences and praised by international critics for its intensive and emotionally gripping performances, for its chamber music-like attention to detail and for its exceptional ability to share the joy of music with listeners.”
Although the Budapest Festival Orchestra regularly appears in the world’s most important music venues, the orchestra’s activities are based around a highly popular series of concerts in Hungary with more than 40 orchestral performances in Budapest and regular visits to other Hungarian towns and cities.
