Something new on the wine scene

boutique-42Mon Vin Budapest just opened at Stop Shop Hüvösvölgy (Bp II 138 Hüvösvölgyi ut – 1st floor, near the pharmacy). This is a thoroughly modern wine store that does away with the traditional design codes of the trade, a place to discover, to discuss, taste and chose among a list that is neither exhaustive nor sectarian but simply the result of the 20-year passion of the French project promoter, Hubert Warsmann. His love for the wine world and the wines of the world has shaped this new and exciting shop.

The range of wines on offer is by and large exclusive to Mon Vin, it favours quality, value for money, originality, a natural approach to vine growing and wine making, and presents new producers and little-known wine regions next to established names of long repute. Currently focussed on French wines, the offering proposes an exciting vinous “Tour de France” (from Bordeaux to Burgundy via the Rhône, the Loire and the Midi) complemented by a small selection from Latin countries from both the old and the new world, while waiting to broaden its horizon (more on your next visit!)

Monday – Friday 11h00-19h00. Saturday 10h30-14h00.
