white wineA Taste Hungary Meet The Winemaker Dinner

{Tokaj Meets Its Match in India}

Featuring Katalin Hudácskó, Winemaker at Hudácskó Winery (Tokaj)

Thursday, February 25, 2010

from 6:30 pm  to  10 pm

Kashmir Indian Restaurant
V. Arany János utca 13

Tokaji wines are most often thought of as dessert wines, as well as the ideal pair for foie gras. They are also the perfect match for Indian food, and other heavily-spiced cuisines. The complexity of flavors and spices begs for off-dry to sweet wines with good acidity to balance the heat. Dine with winemaker, Katalin Hudácskó, who will guide us through the singular process of creating Tokaj wine, and the principles of pairing it with food. Join Taste Hungary for this special opportunity to sample the impressive wines from this small off-the-radar Tokaj winery paired with a tasting menu by Kahsmir.
