Under the Rainbow Pre-school and Kindergarten

Our international kindergarten is Budapest’s newest English-speaking preschool. The school is situated in the 2/A district, close to the American School and the French School. As we are surrounded by the Buda Hills, we have a calm and quiet garden where children can spend a lot of time during the day.

By organising the institution our main aim was to found a place which is truly child- and family-centric, where teachers and parents are working closely together on children’s development. We wanted a place for children where they can develop in an ideal environment, learn through play, where they are surrounded by people who know their individual needs: a place which can be a ‘home from home’.

We know that stability and a secure background are indispensable for children. During their early years they need someone that they can feel being attached to and loved by. In order to provide children with the feeling of safety, we do not change their teachers during their kindergarten years. This is also a strong guarantee that their development and individual needs are closely followed and monitored from the very beginning until they enter school.

The school takes in max. 30 children, 10-11 children per group, from the age of 2. Besides offering a wide range of activities (music, dance, aikido, tennis, skiing), we are also organising programs for not only the children but the whole family.
