KKT Route Gains Momentum

Move One is seeing a significant increase in business along the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan-Tajikistan land route into Afghanistan, also known as the KKT route. The company currently moves more than 70 trucks per month over this series of roads to resupply various military units in Afghanistan, as well as to support a number of large projects to redevelop the country.

Romania: Immigration Bulletin – New Diploma Requirements Expected for Work Permit Applicants

According to speculation, new requirements will soon be introduced for non-EU foreigners intending to apply for Romanian work permits. While at the time of writing a legalized and attested diploma is sufficient to prove an applicant’s educational background for a work permit in Romania, foreigners will soon be required to submit their diploma transcripts as well for attestation by the Ministry of Education.

Ready for Kurdistan

Iraq Business News has reported that Iraq’s semi autonomous region of Kurdistan has opened its doors to over 400 foreign companies to expand their businesses in the fast-growing investment market. According to AK News, approximately 430 foreign companies registered their businesses in Kurdistan in 2011, an increase of nearly 30 percent compared to the previous year.
