IMMIGRATION ALERT: UKRAINE
Kyiv extends COVID lockdown until end of April
The Ukrainian capital Kyiv will remain on lockdown until April 30 as the daily number of new coronavirus cases and coronavirus – related deaths continues to climb despite the tight restrictions imposed in March.
Last month, city authorities closed schools, kindergartens, theaters, and shopping centers. While cafes and restaurants were only allowed to provide takeaway food. Kyiv public transport is now operating on special passenger passes for those working for critical infrastructure enterprises.
State institutions are mostly closed or accepting documents and applications via post which is causing delays in immigration procedures.
We have dedicated extensive resources to monitoring immigration regulatory developments and policy changes as they evolve globally.
