Move One Delivers Personal Protective Equipment to US Troops Stationed in Qatar
Move One is proud to continue to ramp up its support of the US military by transporting Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to military personnel and contractors stationed in the Middle East and Africa.
This past week the Move One team of Military Logistics and their US logistics partners worked alongside US and Qatari military personnel to ensure the smooth delivery of the PPE to forces stationed in Qatar. With most global supply chains stretched beyond their capabilities and what many describe as the “greatest logistical challenge“ in living memory, US military forwarders are in lockstep with their military counterparts to supplement and fill any gaps and operations such as these require constant, effective communications.
“Our teams were able to ensure close coordination between air operations, Qatari & US military as well as our US-based forwarding partners to ensure a smooth final mile operation and mission success” said Walid Omar, Move One Country Manager – Qatar. Working with the Qatar Government Move One processed that tax exoneration quicker than the normal pace of documentation clearance, and working with US military personnel based on Al Udeid Airbase, we were able to arrange special permission for delivery outside of the normal operating hours of the base. It was a total team effort from host Government, US and Qatari Forces, and logistics teams based in the USA and Qatar.
Additionally, Move One is currently coordinating multiple bulk shipments and charters to many US and coalition operations within these regions. With many surface borders and ports either closed or unpredictable, air demand is still surging.
If you have any requirements to deliver PPE to military locations in the Middle East and Africa please contact us for support.
